On a recent trip to Watertown I was in the mood for sushi so I thought I would give this place a try. I travel a lot for work, mainly Army areas, so finding good sushi is not always a give-in. But Ruyi did not disappoint. My sushi was excellent and the service was top notch (my drink was never empty). I will definitly be back here each time I venture up to Ft. Drum.

Yummy Japanese hibachi restaurant with entertaining chefs and excellent service. Our son turned seven years old and really enjoyed the experience. The friendly staff brought a special mini ice cream cake with a candle and pounded a traditional Asian drum while we sang a happy birthday song.

This place is a must go for any hibachi/sushi lover in the Watertown NY area. The atmosphere is very nice and the restaurant is very clean. Every time I come home I go out here at least once. The beers are cold, saki is hot.. Sushi is fresh and the portions on the hibachi are massive. It's hard to go home hungry. If you're in town and like Japanese cuisine, check this place out! The only ding I can give this place is that it can get expensive pretty fast, so be sure to check the prices on everything.

Had an amazing time here! We came around noon and we were seated immediately. The waitstaff was extremely kind and pleasant. Quick to refill our drinks and make sure we were all doing alright. Our Hibachi chef was very funny, definitely put on a show for us which made the experience all the better. Overall, an amazing time and I will definitely be visiting again!

This is a great hibachi place with a nice selection of fresh sushi. I've been several times, and each time ALL of the staff were incredibly nice, polite and attentive. I've been several times now and the drink selection is great, and the food is excellent and fast. If you prefer a booth and cold dish like myself, I recommend the Dragon Rolls, pork gyoza, and whichever cocktail catches your eye. Highly recommend!!

We went here yesterday for my 40th birthday. The cook was so silly and fun! Even my stone-faced, all business teenage boys cracked a smile, laughed and had a great time as the cook teased and did great tricks in front of us. They made us feel very welcome from start to finish. The food tasted AMAZING! I recommend the sushi ball app, it was soooo yummy! I loved their fried rice, and the steak was cooked perfect. We laughed when the cook made the boys catch vegetables in their mouth (I might have to try that at home to get them to eat more veggies!!) What a great way to end a special birthday! Thanks, Ruyi Japanese Steak House Staff! The gong birthday song and continual happy birthday cheer throughout the evening was so silly and fun! What a great time we had.

Great place to eat quality Japanese cuisine. Presentation of the food was elegant. Sushi was high quality. Staff were very polite, friendly and courteous. I highly recommend this restaurant for a wonderful dinner experience.

filet mignon was so tender and melted in your mouth. As good or better than high-end restaurant. Better than Gordon Ramsay's Atlantic City restaurant. Even better Wagu no less
